Responsible for the conduct of food safety and process audits. Monitors the adherence of the assigned production line to quality standards. Performs investigation, troubleshooting, and disposition of captured defects. Represents Quality Assurance and Quality Control department during batch trials/process validation of assigned products.
1.Monitors and documents the process, product, raw materials, and time spent (i.e., overall time spent for production and time spent for every step of the production procedure/process) for batch trial or process validation of assigned products.
2.Compares the process, sample of the product, raw materials, and time spent of batch trial or process validation of assigned products against quality standards and previous/similar product; provides results/analytical data for Quality Assurance Officer’s review.
3.Conducts adequate and reliable daily monitoring of production line to assure that processing, raw materials, finished products, and handling specifications are followed; discusses with Quality Assurance officer and Production Officer on observed deviations and informs Production Planning and Control personnel of the need for additional raw materials.
4.Audits GMP and sanitation practices of assigned production section (i.e., BPS/MLT/SDF); provides results/analytical data for Quality Assurance/Quality Control Specialist’s review.
5.Conducts sensory evaluation of samples of all produced items of assigned production section (i.e., BPS/MLT/SDF); provides results/analytical data for Quality Assurance Officer’s review.
6.Investigates, troubleshoots, and suggests disposition of customer complaints and other feedback on quality of the products from assigned production section (i.e., BPS/MLT/SDF); provides results/analytical data for Quality Assurance Officer’s review.
7.Performs laboratory activities (e.g., moisture content test) and product simulation as may be assigned.
8.Prepares and submits quality-related reports (e.g., interim final rule (IFR) product feedback report, Corrective and Preventive Action Report (CPAR), GMP audit report, commissioned equipment record).
9.Attends meetings as necessary (e.g. product launch meeting, mass production meeting).
10.Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
-Graduate of BS Food Technology, Nutrition, Culinary or any related field
-Knowledge in GMP, HACCP, ISO, SSOP
-Good communication skills
-Can work with diverse group of people
-Willing to work on a shifting schedule; graveyard shift and during weekends and holidays, if necessary.
-Willing to work in FTI Taguig City
